Hi, I'm Gabrielle Bell
My first career was in Geology where I worked in New Zealand and Australia. In 1991 I began retraining in architecture and graduated from Victoria University in 1996. My first position was with Min Hall Architects where I worked for two years. I went on to work for several other companies locally and in Wellington before setting up an architecture practice in Motueka.
My favorite part of architecture is the time spent with clients working on solutions and designs that improve their everyday environment. Achieving this with a beautiful and elegant form is very satisfying. I also love being a principal in my own business as I get to work directly with the client. I have applied my architecture skills to numerous residential projects including new and alteration work. I also have experience in educational and commercial buildings.
Outside of Architecture I am a member of the "Friends of the Motueka High School" who help support school events. I also help out at the local Steiner School with fundraising at their fairs including making items that are for sale. I enjoy art and craft and am an occasional mountain biker. Peter and I have an architects house - forever being renovated.
